Dove Brothers Concert - Friday, October 2 @ 7PM. This will be The Dove Brothers Quartet's third time in our community and we are so very excited and blessed to have this outstanding, award-winning group of God's men visit our little church. Come down for a real treat in Southern Gospel Quartet music!

Vendors from Tri-State with a variety of hand-crafted items including Hand-crafted Jewelry, Stethoscope "Bling", Baby & Children's Items, Hairbows, Original Watercolors, Woodcrafts, Painted Gourds, Florals, Hand-woven Baskets, & Seasonal Items.
- Hanging of the Greens - Sunday, November 29 @ 5PM. Begin your Christmas season with us while we adorn our sanctuary with greenery, hear the story of our Savior's birth and join together in traditional Christmas Carols. Stay with us for a light supper and fellowship after the service!
- Nativity Walk - TBA New this year is our Nativity Walk where we will have displayed our WG family's collections of Nativity and Holy Family items. There will be everything from fine porcelain figurines and carved wood to postcards and old Christmas Cards. We plan to have a "kid friendly" area as well! Join us for a relaxed evening, and at your leisure, walk through our displays to view Walnut Grove's Christmas gift to our community.

Walnut Grove UM Church is that friendly, family-oriented country church everyone is seeking. Nestled in a beautiful little valley along-side Pond Creek, southeast of Monroe City, we truly do care for one another. We laugh together and cry together and offer support when needed.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to God and without Him we would be lost. Only through the Grace of our Lord and saving blood of Jesus is our way to Heaven. Jesus is our intercessor with the Father. We believe Jesus was born of the virgin, died on the cruel cross and was raised from the grave and lives today with our Father in Heaven. We want to share the Good News with you and your family! Come and join us this Sunday!
Our Sunday school starts at 9:00am followed by Sunday Worship at 10:00am. We offer Sunday school classes for all age groups, toddler-adult. We have a more traditional adult Class with lesson books. We also have an adult Bible Study class where we study and reflect on the Bible’s teachings.
We are very active in our church family, as well as in our community! Join us for any of our gatherings, monthly pitch-in meals, musical presentations or any of the various activities down here in the country!
